A COMMUNITY WORKSHOP & STUDIO FOR CREATIVES

We are a community interest company which believes in the power of using our
hands to make things.

Our aim is to engage, teach and support our community to MAKE MORE - to boost prosperity and improve mental health & wellbeing across generations.

Make more…

Connections

Connect with colleagues, clients and customers through our ever-growing network of crafters, carpenters & creatives.

Craft

Crafting is good for the soul. Simple. Get away from the computer, use your hands to make something & see how it makes you feel.

Cash

If you want to turn your craft into a money-earner we can support & help you succeed.  Become a member & sell through our shop.

We share our space, our experience and our facilities, to help improve productivity, prosperity and wellbeing in our community.

Hot Soup House is a place to learn, the space to grow, the tools to build and the support to thrive. Meet our current residents, become a member, rent a space in our studio, or come in and use our day bench.

Sharing is caring

We offer affordable workspace and woodwork machinery for professionals, for DIYers, for skillful crafters… and for those who just fancy giving it a try!

We have six permanant benches in our wood workshop for rent by the month - or a more flexible day bench available for rental by the day, or even the hour.

In the studio we also have our Craft & Maker space for small-scale crafts like ceramics or jewellery making, and our Co-Working Desk space for quiet creatives.

MAKE MORE Skills Courses

Join us at one of our range of courses – available for all skill levels & abilities at various timeframes.

We run a mix of short courses for a tasty taster, to more in-depth courses to learn skills training.

Have an idea in mind? If you think there is a need for some new skills or learning in your circle let us know and we will do our best to get a course up and running.

“HSH gave me the opportunity to have my own useable space, and access to equipment I was unable to purchase myself. Working closely with other people making their way in a similar trade, was a key part in helping me grow my business.”
